Nditsheni is a full time artist from Ha-Matsa, Limpopo, in South Africa. One of the incredible volunteers at the Little Artists School, he aims to help children discover their inner artist. This was something that he noticed in himself when, at the age of nine, he would use his free time at school to draw. He used his school books for his sketches, in order to hide them from his mother. He knew he really had a passion for art and drawing, but he was not aware this was something he could turn into a career.
After moving to Pretoria to study and broaden his horizons, Nditsheni relocated to Johannesburg. It was here, in 2005, that he met Edward and joined the team. He feels that helping these kids is like working with his own children… they share the same problems and, through their shared love of art, have become like family. He is committed to building a community and keeping the kids off the streets, and believes that, with these opportunities, the children will change their lives. For him it’s about loving what you do. Then the rest falls into place.
