Sbusiso is from Ingwavuma, KwaZulu Natal in South Africa. At a young age his mother recognised his passion for art, and supported him on his artistic journey, encouraging him to pursue his creativity. He enrolled in The National School of Arts, studying art history, visual art, fine art and design. Here his artistic seeds sprouted, leading him to the Little Artists School, an opportunity which he considers to be a true blessing. Within the studio’s walls he refined his unique artistic style, and focused in on watercolour as a medium. Each of his creations reflects hsi dedication and the profound connection that he forges with his audience.

Finding his artistic identity is a process that Sbusiso embraced wholeheartedly. He spent countless hours painting, pushing his creative limits and evolving into the artist he is today. Raised by a single mother, his art has a specific resonance, particularly his portraits of women and children. He draws constant inspiration from the unconditional love that he and his sister received from his mother, and taps into a personal well of experience. These propel him to capture the essence of love, dedication and hard work in every stroke.
