Buhle is from Radebe, Katlehong, South Africa.In 1996 he moved to a children's home called Rhema Paradise, which catered for children from the street. In 1997 he was then given an opportunity to choose amongst activities and chose to engage with The Little Artists School.He was in and out of class uncertain of his commitment. In 1999 Buhle sold his first painting under The Little Artist School which was funded by Dulcie Robinson and conducted by Edward Selematsela.

In 2009 Buhle finished his schooling at New Nation High School. On leaving school he spent much time with the The Little Artists School while attending the Star School with the aim of improving his matric results. In 2013 Buhle enrolled with the Artist Proof Studio, for a year and half, a school which specialises with print-making, with the aim of learning different art techniques, he attended classes.
