Edward is a full time artist from Ga-Modjadji, Limpopo, South Africa. As a child, his teachers and mother started to see magic when Edward put pen to paper. At school his handwriting was described to be perfect, hand painting Roman numeral signs, with a real talent for drawing cartoons. He remembers his mother complaining about him using all the candles to draw into the early hours of the morning.

As a young boy he had to leave his family for Johannesburg. His art was noticed and he was awarded the opportunity to attend Eastside College and UNISA.

Edward tells of how he did not have daily transport to get to college. His determination and eagerness proved he would do what it takes, getting up every day before dawn to find a way.

Edwards commitment to making a positive impact through the "Little Artist School" project is truly inspiring. Voluntarily dedicating time to teach children and youth from disadvantaged backgrounds reflects a strong desire to contribute to the community.

Since starting The Little Artists School in an orphanage back in 1995 he has impacted 1800 students over the years and continues to do so. This is beyond a significant achievement and is a testament to the man he is.
